pollen stars

No snow tonight so I've aimed the bellows at a house plant. The pollen on the stamens is glowing - I've never noticed the yellow until this became a test subject. Tiny flower maybe 1/4 inch in diameter.

D90, 80mm enlarging lens reversed, bellows, ISO 160, 1/25, copy stand

I'm not familiar with the technical aspects of extremely close up photography, Paul, but overall I like this a lot. Would it have been possible to get all the anthers sharp ? is my only query. The composition is eye catching and the colours vibrant. Hope to see you posting more here.

Thanks all for the feedback and the welcome to the gallery! Ian, unfortunately with the set up I was using I couldn't achieve that type of DOF. I'm typically dealing with a DOF of just millimeters at the most and at this angle couldn't sharpen them all.
