Wood Duck

A visit to the local zoo ponds today provided the base image. I was hoping the extreme colors in a male Wood Duck would translate well with the fractalius filter. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Nice wood duck. I'd try doing the fractalius filter on just the duck and leave the water as natural or give it a different treatment. Together it's a little extreme.

Very pretty, Rob! I think it works fine on the water an duck, great colors! As i mentioned to Mark, i think this filter is going to grow old real fast, but if you have a strong subject (as you do here) that should give it some staying power.

Very nice. I like the amount of filtering you decided upon.

Rob, I like the effect on the duck. I think it looks nice. I might leave the water natural if it were mine.

Thanks for the input. I tried it with the water more normal looking, but it just didn't look right. The water isn't anything special in the original. Stan, I agree that the filter might get old quick. Finding the right image isn't easy.

Hmmm, I have to go on a mission of discovery and find this filter.

I think perhaps with a different bg, this would really sing, Rob.
