Shot this one last weekend. I spent all day on a frozen river and it was great. There were plenty of moments when I could hear the ice crack, but it was pretty safe to walk on it. I guess the image shows a rather rare and temporary pattern in nature. Ice can be so original and interesting. I had some difficulties in sharpening this one and this is closest to what I perceived then. I hope it looks right.

Interesting photo in both color and texture.

Great eye.

Really interesting, I thought it was a flock of birds scattered on a mud flat at first. I like the light source diffusing out from the top center.

Still not sure what exactly I'm looking at but I like it! I like the sunshine showing at the top - it adds depth and interest to what would be a pretty flat image without it. Good eye.

Cool shot, Dorin--the nice radial light gradient makes it work for me!

The light and the tiny shadows cast by that light really makes this one work. Well seen.

Nice colors on this one. You caught the light just right. I'm assuming that it is frost on the river.

The lighting is perfect. I'm amazed how evenly spaced these crystals are. Beautiful image.
