Man & Nature Gallery - 1st Honorable Mention
Swell at Lighthouse

The shot is from Ireland, from last year. We were very lucky to have reasonable 'sunny' weather for a number of days. I think the shot that I have taken is quite dreamy. I like the weak pinks and overall feel with the motion on the water.

Definitely a Dreamscape Ian!
I love the motion of the water leading to a soft pastel sky and finally to the light house. Well Done!

Beautiful! Great exposure, the waves climbing up the rock and coming down in small waterfalls are what make this for me. The surf must have been quite active to get this much motion in 4 seconds.

There are many interesting elements of this shot but I think the most outstanding is the water. It is strong and powerful but at the same time there is a softness there.

Very nice capture. I could see this in B/W as well. The long exposure is effective in my opinion. Nice color pallette as well.

A very captivating image Ian. I feel as if I'm standing right next to you. The light falling on the lighthouse is sublime and ohhh so sweet.

Really ... 4 seconds handheld? Wow, you're one rock solid photographer!

Just for clarification - the ND filter was handheld to reduce effect of the ND filter and not the camera. Thankyou for all your wonderful comments.

This is absolutely amazing. Everything is perfect, and the water motion is superb. I especially like the interesting details scattered throughout the scene (the 'small' waterfalls trickling down the rough rocks).
