I created this image in the Sehlabathebe National Park in Lesotho. The stone wall leading into the frame is old Basotho cattle enclosure.
8 vertical frames with large overlaps were stitched in PS CS4, which resulted in a 60 MP image! I converted the image to B&W whereby I experimented with an almost infrared look.

Camera Model Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Shutter Speed 1/5 Sec
Aperture Value f/18.0
ISO Speed 100
Lens EF24-105 f/4L IS USM
Focal Length 24.0mm

Vincent, other than the over bright sun, I really like this. Well handled conversion, anyway. Man and Narure needs more lookers!

This b&w process is very good, makes pop up the textures and shadows! The composition is also very good

The scene is stunning, but honestly i think you bit off a little too much here, the light is wildly divergent; the bright ulhc pulls your eye there, while the sunlit lrhc yanks you the other way--its just not a coherent comp, unfortunately--i say unfortunately cause the subject matter is quite dramatic. I would have preferred a view from the left that didnt attempt to incorporate the sun. :wavey:
