After seeing so many wonderful bird photos here, I'm feeling low, as the Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur, where I do bird photography, is facing drought. I may be loosing grip on my techniques.
This is from the winter of 2008.

Sorry to hear of the drought. Nothing wrong with your technique on this shot. I might back off the sharpening just a bit.

I like this Jagdeep. You got good separation on most of the birds, all the heads are visible and they're all sharp. I wish you rain for Keoladeo.

Nice flight formation Jagdeep, Bharatpur has been having a lot of drought problems in recent years, I hope the situation improves there. Do you still get any Siberian Cranes there? I remember seeing them years ago.
