Junco
by Ed Dubois
Still digging around in the archives.
This junco is another from a Vancouver area nature park. The perch is a twig on a tree near the feeding station. A lot of the small birds like to start to the feeders from there as you can see by the way the bark is worn off. This is the same perch that's in my fox sparrow post but on a different day when the light wasn't as warm.
I quite like the subtle color gradations of browns and grays on the wings and back of this junco. Hope you do too.
Thanks for looking.

Best of all and I'm color guy andI love the mixture of grey's and browns both on the birdand B.G they lend well together. It gives it a real Rich feeling to the image. We do not get that type of junco's where I 'm from.Only gray slated. Some times when I out shooting with my friends they tend not to want to photograph that bird much.Seems like they get no respect.I love em.
Excellent Ed
absolutely no nits from here. Great image!!
The colors in this image are very appealing to me and the great pose of the junco is also. I love the eye contact and the wonderful view of the pink bill.
