...bulls!

I found this picture earlier today while I was re-organizing my archives, lying unprocessed in an external drive. I took it in Camargue, southern France, on a very much rainy morning of April last year.

Details: Eos 50D, Tokina Atx-pro 12-24 f4, GND 4x, tripod.

Your c&c are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time.

Paolo

P.S. compression hurts a lot here, this really needs to be seen larger

Very interesting shot, considering the weather you have done well. Thanks for sharing.

Wild shot, good to see you posting, Paolo! That bull looks miserable. Large shot looks fine--if you back off the sharpening (at least for the horizon) the smaller version will look better. :wavey:

Very unique shot. I really like the mix of snow and water and the rain drops in the water. I also think the 50/50 comp works great here. Too bad that tuft of grass in the water is directly below the bull, I think that throws off the 'compositional flow' in my opinion. Cool shot regardless though, and it is nice to see you posting again. :wavey:

What a quirky and interesting photo. I like it...... It makes me wonder what that soggy old bull is thinking? He does look pretty miserable. At least he has a built-in leather raincoat though.

interesting photo which appeals to me. it's not eye-poppingly spectacular but there's lots to look at. the smaller version seems over-sharpened!

This is a very interesting shot Paolo. There is a lot going on here. The fg is colorfully vivid, leading into a drab and dismal mid and bg. The snow in the mid-ground seems to be overexposed, but the horizon and sky is sharp and definitely draws the viewer to it. This image makes me stop and stare. Very Cool. Thanks for sharing.

What a great mood and "story", Paolo. Nice to see that you still think about photography then and now.
The small version is oversharpened, but the big one really shines.

Cool shot. The small one does look to sharp and the large one ok. I like the rain and I think it looks like you are on the right side of the river!
