Hi Folks,
The snowstorm of the century has given me time to work on photos and time to post. So here's something from this past summer.

Your comments and critiques are most welcome.

Nikon D2X, Sigma 24-70mm f2.8, Set at 46mm, 1/10s, f11, ISO 100, Circ. Pol. (I think). ACR & CS2,luminosity masks, Dodge&Burn, etc.

Hi Julia

Nice capture of this watery chaos. I like the sun lit portion and kind of wish the entire scene was lit up, but hey monther nature is in charge. My only nit would be that on my monitor the sharpening is stronger than I'd like for this type of scene, but this is just a personal preference. Good work!

Love the shapes and the warm light, this is a wonderful abstraction.

I really like the water texture here. It's blurred, but also quite detailed.

This is a great dynamic image with lots going on and lots to look at. The colors and the water motion are both very nice.

I really like how you used the shutter speed to retain motion and texture in the water, works wonderfully for this comp. I also like the green under the water, and the lighting, very nice!.

Julie, I can definitely feel the rush of the small cascades and the golden light in the foreground makes it that much better. Great find!

A really nice almost abstract view. I like the warm light, and your chosen shutter speed is perfect. Nice work.
