Hi guys, how are you doing?

A little bit busy here in Madrid but I've on line aagain with this wid anglke frame taken at the base of "Los cuernos del Paine" during one amazing morning after a heavy rain fall.

The colors of austral trees mixed with that beautiful sunrise light, and the water fall of course, creating a perfect scene  what's your opinion?

RAW image, ISO 100, f/16, Polarizer, 5D, Canon EF 17-40 f/4L USM

superb layers in this image, with the waterfall creating linkage among the layers. you've got some halos around the peaks - easily solved! the varied colours also makes this interesting.

Wow, this looks like a fairytale landscape, Roberto. Gorgeous colors, elements, light, composition. This one just flat out works in every way. Fix the haloes around the peaks and this is perfect.

Wow, this is fanastic Roberto. Masterful exposure, the mixture of different colours is really interesting, from the green vegetation to orange trees, and red cliff face and then blue sky really. On top of that the terrain is also varied and so well organised into distinctive layers. You then have a beautiful detailed foreground and waterfall focal point - nice composition. Great photo! :jump:

WOW! Man, this is just incredible. I've rarely seen any mountain landscapes that equal this kind of dynamic and dramatic beauty. The centered falls work perfectly in this high-detail scene, with interesting elements surrounding them on all sides. An absolute feast for the eyes. :toast:

Absolutely spectacular scene. A unique view of some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. As others have said, fix the haloes around the peaks and this is perfect.

Gorgeous scene and fantastic comp, Roberto! In my opinion, the warm colors in the fg (especially yellows and greens) are slightly oversaturated (the alpenglow on the peaks is appropriately saturated--the leaves should not have a higher saturation than the alpenglow IMO) Great shot that could be killer with some minor adjustments. :wavey:

Great shot-unique look of that mountain. Right hand peak looks like there's a halo around it.

Right out of a fairytale Roberto, what a neat landscape! The colors/layers of the rock are fascinating. I agree with Bret - fix that haloing and you've got a winner.

The lower half makes an awesome image on its own and the upper half makes an awesome image on its own. Combine the two together and you have a totally awesome image!

These mountains with their layers never cease to amaze me. You got a great composition and colors here. My only nit would be that the image looks a little contrasty in the lower half. Maybe just an effect of the web sharpening.

Roberto, Sorry but you're going to have to change the title to the "Gates of Eden."
It's just that nice.

Roberto.
¡Wonderful shot from - almost - the base of the Cuernos! Wonderful place. The resulting colors and lighting are just amazing.
As for the halo around the peaks, it seems to be it might be the result of an HDR processing. If that's the case I believe it can be easily adjusted.
Excelente, ¡de todos modos! :toast:

Very very cool scene. Great comp. Without reading any comments my thoughts are there is too much cyan/blue cast throughout the photo. Also could do with some more web sharpening. Overall killer shot. Might be worth a b/w try too!

Composition: The first eye-catching event was the white wall for me; then my eye went to the water fall, then down to the foreground, the back up to catch the other mountain face. In sum, the photo made me cover the entire area. Nice.

Color -- doesn't get any better

Texture -- Angles, curves, lines, patterns are all eye-pleasing.

Wish it was my capture !! .... the fisch

Wow! Just wow! What a fantastic scene. I love the light, the sense of size and layers in the rock. Great composition. The only thing that caught my eye was some blue-ishness on the rocks in the foreground. I have no idea if that's natural or from the upload. But other than that a great image.
