Zeiss 100 macro, Nikon D300

Mature hellebore shot at Seattle Garden Show last weekend. I vertically flipped it and boosted the highlights, sharpened...somewhat strongly...in spots and strongly blurred in some spots trying to subdue noise and natural dappling on the surface of the flower. I dunno...this has a shape quality that attracted me...and I haven't found the ps formula that does it justice. Maybe I ought to just keep it simple. Comments welcome.

This composition displays the intriguing shape perfectly. The light and color are powerful. Very nicely done.
