Frosting on the mountain

I took this photo on the road from West Yellowstone to Jackson. I'm not sure whether this mountain is in Idaho, Wyoming or Montana. I just really liked the snow frosting on the trees and the mountain and the dramatic light. I put it in man and nature because there appear to be ski trails on the open slope of the mountain.

Cool shot, Robert I can feel the coldness and the winter-mood. Nice lights and great shadows. The clouds are dramatic. The almost monochrome presentation adds to the effort.

Glad I looked at the large version. Lots of detail and light play. The open area with tracks adds interest and helps with the sense of scale. Looks like you had an elevated vantage point, which I like too. :toast:
