Conditions stayed pretty much like this most of the time during a quick trip to Yosemite a couple of weeks ago.... it was beautiful!

Blended exposure. 1.3 sec and .6 sec at f/16. 22mm.

Thanks for looking. Critiques appreciated.

Dramatic image, very strong. I like the way the waterfall is cut and the contrast of white water with the bulk and massive and dark rock.

I like the comp here and the contrast of the falling water and the dark rock. The captured mood is excellent

Will, I like the darker dramatic feel to this image.
The composition isn't easy to take in, but I bet it was tough to frame accordingly.

I like the wide angle perspective with the trees sort of looming over the scene. Is there any detail you can bring out in the falls? That would be my only suggestion. Nice shot.

I do like the dark, moody feel to this. The extreme convergence of the trees bothers me a little, but gives the scene an expansive feel to it. The location of the falls low in the frame makes how they were cut off seem awkward to me compositionally.

Very nice atmosphere here! I enjoy looking at this comp despite feeling kind of "uncomfortable" with (a) the tilted look; and (b) not being able to see the lower part of the scene. I guess that's what they call visual tension? Whatever it is, it keeps me looking.

The perspective with the visual focus of the falls really makes this work, Will. Not much to criticize. Look well done to me.

Hi Will. First of all, this is just great. A must...! Very dramatic view. I have a passion for scenes like this, it resembles an intense and timeless wilderness off a majestic scene. I´m really enjoying the patterns and details on the rock throughout, lighter and darker areas playing with textures enabling strong lines.

Minor nit on processing, and personal taste, I would retouch bringing a bit more light on ULC top cliff, trying to balance it according to surrounding cliff areas.
Well done!
