That's some lovely light, Rui. While your classical composition approach isn't bad at all, it almost feel like a little too much foreground distraction to me. Maybe a similar shot with something not that dominant might have been another option. Just thinking.

I tend to agree with Andreas.
There may be two shots here???
Of couse the close up of the foreground is one, perhaps with a more stark background??
The water on the right makes the pic a bit too "busy".
Still, great color and sharpness.

There is a lot going on in this image, demanding attention (the saturated sky, mountain, interesting log, green moss and lichen...). I agree trying to simplify the comp. by focusing on just a couple of these elements would strengthen this image.

Great light and an appealing scene, though the foreground does seem a bit distracting to me as well.

Beautiful Image, I have a fondness for somewhat busy images so I like the comp.

very lovely composition, but I do agree with the others on the foreground. Looks like a very cool place

Complex, but very interesting foreground. Sunset glow seems a bit posterized, but his is tough light to work with.

interesting work
I like the colorful scene
i feel you might need to reduce the saturation a little bit

I like the complexity here as well. The two major roots of the fuzzy, dead tree point to both Pico and the sunset, suggesting I view them both equally, so that's freaking sweet in my opinion. And the third root on the right is saying..'Hey, there's a pond over here as well!'
Cool shot!

It's a nice shot with beautiful colors. I think the foreground subject is a bit too dominat here. But still a good shot.

Hi Rui. Awesome color you got in this sunset. Great moment of light. I guess thought I tend to agree about what´s being said about saturation on brighter sky areas/posterized effect. Actually this is that kind of light which is difficult to manage on web showing, especially if you shot in adobeRGB color space. Converting to sRGB in this kind of light often produces this result, even loss of detail sometimes. Happens me a lot on glowing sunset/sunrise :/
That aside, I can´t seem to fit that FG trunk, I mean, there´s lot of detail into it, love the aspect aspect, but looks too "strong" on 2/3 portion of the image. Just my thoughts my friend ;)
Keep it up!
