Photograph taken on June 3, 2008 at The Celery Farm, Allendale, New Jersey. It took me a few hours, and tremendous luck, to get this picture. Dragonflies and Damselflies were going on and off the branch. There was a very faint breeze, and the leaf was slowly floating around. I was hoping that it would come closer at the right time. When it finally happened, I could not have hoped for a better composition.

Nikon D3, Nikon 200-400mm with 2X teleconverter, f/20.0, 1/125, ISO 800.

Would appreciate your thoughts.
Kumar

I agree that the comp is great!
Overall, seems kind of "flat", though - I think you were losing light and had to pump up the ISO and lost some detail.
Maybe some extra tweaking would help..

Very nice reflection here; I fond the composition a bit too tight, both at the top and at the bottom IMHO.

Great symmetry in this photo. Might be a tiny bit tight, but I think you needed to do this because of the size of the subjects. Might have lost a little bit of sharpness by using the 2X. :toast:

I'm loving the scene Kumar. I agree with the others that a bit more punch would make this image even better. Patience paid off for you!
