A Time for Skiing

Found a little road with no outlet that gives me a full frontal shot of Elk Mountain in NEPA. The mountain is basically facing north/northwest, so I waited until the sun was out (finally) and high enough to almost illuminate it without being too much. This was a couple days after we got about 30 inches of snow. The trees on the hill are all white as I discovered in close ups. Chose this for the nice sky and clouds, along with the road providing perspective. Was thinking about getting rid of the poles/wires. ISo-80, 1/2000th, f5.6. Thanks for looking and your comments are always appreciated.

Nice scenic. That's a lot of snow. I probably would have waited till later in the day and hoped for a little better light although facing N/NW in PA (I assume NEPA means northeast Pennsylvania) you might not have got much better.

Thanks for a comment Robert!! :) Waiting MAY have helped, not sure--and you are right about Northeast PA. Clouds were rolling in pretty good at the time.

Glad someone liked this. I do.
