Great action shot, with both heads exposed - even if not in the greatest position
Like the vulture's leg grabbing the s.bird.
ANY shot like this is wonderful, even if not perfect!
Nice BG with the subtle mountains and grasses.

What was the outcome here ? - both birds seem pretty matched in size.

Great shot of the action - only wish I could see the vulture's head better. Minor nit. :toast: :toast:

Andrea, I've always been a huge fan of action shots like this, esp between different species. It's not easy getting the heads of both players visible and well lit like this when the hubub begins. You got dynamic postures from both birds, the difficult exposure looks good and I like your comp. Neat shot!

Super action/flight photo. Looks like the vulture is getting his avian butt kicked. You have perfect dof and also stopped the action in its tracks with sufficient shutter speed. Awesome!!! :toast:

Secretarybirds are in some occasions very aggressive with the other birds,I have seen (and photographed) the secretarybirds attack and get further eagles and vultures, doesn't stop even in front of the really impressive Lappet-faced Vulture
They usually use the legs to kick the adversaries, these are very interesting scenes to see.
In this photo my thechs are ISO 400, F 5.6, 1/1600s, 300mm.
Many thanks to everybody :wavey: :wavey:

Wow, excellent action shot, good detail, background setting, the birds placement within the frame, what more could you ask for? A pleasure to view, well done.
