Normally I post over in the ES&S forum but my recent purchase of a Minolta 100mm F2.8 macro has me shooting more macros lately. This is the edge of a cyclamen petal. Any C&C's would be appreciated.

I love the colors here, the dof, and the comp.
you have an eye for macros - hope to see a lot more of them!

I see a musical note here. And a nice "S" curve. And a very graceful image. Sweet escape from your normal zone. :toast:

Tim: Just beautiful. I love the color and the movement through the frame. Great choice of lens. It was my first macro lens and is still the sharpest piece of glass in my bag. Don't forget to send some of this good stuff over to Flora as well. >=))>

Nice shot. Brings out the delicate beauty of a flower. Love the colours too.

Bill,

Yes I'm quite loving the 100mm F2.8; classic macro lens! I was contemplating putting this in the flora gallery but in the end chose the macro. I guess this kind of image can go either way.

Hey Tim, congrats on joining the macro ranks, you will have fun and find tons of subjects to shoot, giving you more time to spend with your camera. Love the comp, and perfect point of focus and good choice of DOF. Well done and looking forward to seeing more. :toast:
