Cleaning the paw

Cleaning the paw, early in the morning. Some people may not be familiar with this kind of terrain of the Tiger, actually it is due to white rocks and sand in the Ramganga river in Corbett National Park.
Thankyou so much for your kind attention & views !

Hi Jagdeep,

I really like your choice of crop here and how tight the tiger is to the bottom of the frame (well grounded!). The tongue is wonderful and even though you don't have caught too much of it, I really quite like how the eye is rendered. If the image were mine I'd experiment with reducing the exposure on the fore- and background - it may reflect how it looked when you were there, but visually the image would likely work better for me if these areas were slightly darkened (and I think, in relative terms, the tiger would "pop" more).

Cheers...well done - very interesting image as posted...

Excellent crop and pose, and I agree with Brad on the darkening of the background - it will make quite the difference. Well done.

Great pose and thanks for adding the info about the riverbed. I assumed a road, as many tigers are only seen that way it seems. I agree on darkening the background, should focus on the tiger more.

The tiger looks great. I like the grooming behavior and that big pink tongue. I also like the crop. The riverbed is a pretty uninspiring BG but nothing you could do about that.

This is beautiful Jagdeep. The super low angle just draws the viewer into the image. The pose and behaviour captured are both interesting and unique and all in all this makes for a very attractive image. Looking at the larger version it could use some minor noise reduction on the BG maybe. :toast:

Superb image Jagdeep, the pose, comp and details are great and you've captured and nice moment as well  Agree with the suggestion of Brad about the darkening. :wavey:

Another of your excellent tiger captures! I most like the posture and the lines it creates with the elongated line-up of legs and the face/eye pointing us in the same direction. It makes for a superb composition enhanced by the captured motion of that licking gesture. :toast:

Beautifully captured, Jagdeep, but agree with Brad about the bright bg. :toast:
