Yes, Spring has arrived--it's in the air and on the ground.

The Dandelions looked healthier than their civilized counterparts hanging outside at the local market  so ... I ignored NO TRESPASSING signs, and shot both Dandelions and their brothers and sisters already gone to seed.

Canon PowerShot XS200 IS, hand-held, Programmed mode, f/4, 1/640 s, Matrix mode, ISO 80, 5 mm

Curves layer based on extended lights from green channel and cropped to 4x4 square format to eliminate the background distractions.

Thanks for viewing and leaving your comments and reactions to these lighter than air potential seedlings ;^)

I suddenly remembered 4th of July Fireworks from Las Vegas the summer of 2009. Sure looks like a similarity to me :jump:

Carol:
You have done well to capture this without getting it overblown. It is slightly hot in some area but not over the top. My attempts with milkweed seeds have so far been unsuccessful. BTW like the fireworks too.

Very nice Carol, well composed, and I like the touch of color within.

Eye popping, Carol !! I like especially the diagonal movement in the composition which works well in this square format. Nice to see the fireworks too !!

Carol: Its unusual to get a compelling image from a weed but you have done so masterfully here. Really well done. >=))>

REally well done Carol. Being a little hot in some spots kinda adds to this in my humble opinion. Good job. :toast:

Beautiful image Carol. Not a thing I can think to suggest. It does look a lot like fireworks. I hope you do some more of these.
