Layered
by Benjamin Olson
I apologize for my lack of participation this year, I've been swamped with school and getting ready for art shows. This was taken back in early January this year along MN's North Shore of Lake Superior with fellow NPNer Joel Truckenbrod.
I found this unique ice formation about twenty minutes before sunset and decided to wait until the sun got low enough the light up the rushing water as it went over the rocks. I shot this with the intent of cropping it to a pano because the top of the frame wasn't as aesthetically pleasing as the rest of the image.

The multiple layers of rock and ice combined with the light is splendid. What a great pano print this will make.
Great job and vision here
