Beautiful scene, great light. It feels tipped to the right to me.

Really impressive shot! Great post processing work. IMHO the sky is a bit overdone: I do prefer the FG.

Really beautiful water. I find the sky and the water competing for my attention. A crop to turn this in to a slim panorama of the water would be an interesting option. It simplifies the image and really focuses on the water. Nice Photoshop work on the blend.

Really beautiful colors Doug! What catches my eye the most is the water on the left side. You also have a nice leading line. Great job!

Doug, before last weekend I spent the four previous weekends in Lamar Valley. I'm surprised I didn't run into you. It's pretty hard to find any untracked snow with the buffalo and all, but you found a great spot with some fantastic light. I just wish they would plow out more turnouts along the road here in the winter. Nice reflection.

such a beautiful composition! well done! I agree with Rob, I feel that the image is leaning to the right, but this could be because the mountain is getting smaller to the right. The fluidity of the water is what makes this image a winner!

Thank you all. I don't believe there is an actual tilt - pretty sure I used a bubble level and all the trees are straight.

A beautiful shot, Doug. I love the golden warmth of the sky reflected in the soft water against the cool of the snow. Very nice comp as well. I like the silhouetted trees on the right ridge. The sky seems a little blown above the ridge on the left. Fabulous color and a nice blend.

Great photo and fantastic sky. The snow does seem a little bright to me given the time of day, but then again it is snow.

Thanks for all the comments. Despite the mostly positive feedback, I've really struggled with the post processing on this one. When you are blending images, there are just alot of ways to manipulate the scene. After looking at the original post, and getting some feedback elsewhere, perhaps the saturation is a bit over the top, and the scene is just a little too 'unreal'. I tamed it in the repost, and I feel the sky competes a little less and seems more 'reasonable' to me.
