Found this scene quite appealing for its simplicity in form and color...compression is killing the web version though.

The greens are amazing, I also like the rocks. No problems to me with the web version, it looks very nice. The only nitpick is that the trees in the background are a little distracting, I would like just plain green grass after the last slope.

I have no problem with this at all, except if this is killed by compression, the large view must be amazing!

Very nice. Good composition with a curve that leads the eye to the tree.

Beautiful scene...I love the play of the tree's shadow across the grass.

The thumbnail of this caught my eye, partly because I love backlit scenes and partly because you have a nice sense of composition. The only thing I might suggest is to burn down the lower right just a hint and the next time you come across such a scene, set your subject off by using a shallower depth of field. That way, those trees way back would not complete with your magnificent tree.
Still, nicely done!

Very spring. These oaks and hills go together so well. I like the skyless comp.

Don't you just love the look of fresh, backlit grass? I like the color, and the especially the way the shadow falls on the hill. I do wish the background was a bit less distracting though. If the shadow from the background hill engulfed the trees before the foreground light went away, that would be ideal. However, I imagine the foreground would be in shade if the background was also in shade.
