I hate to start off a post w/ apologies or excuses, but... this pair of geese were just too far away for my equipment to get a nice clear bird shot. The sun was just rising so the other part is the white, uhh, rear ends are hot too. I liked the wavy reflections and its colors, however, plus the aggressive swimming they seem to be displaying. Have to get the image data posted too. Thanks for looking and C&C welcomed

Well I was debating whether to crop out the shoreline or not, but left it in to give it a border. Not sure, i do kind of like it this way too.

Hi Rich, thanks... I'll tell them you said that. Maybe they were tanning??

Yeah, I really did give the centering aspect some thought. But if I cropped either way, or up or down I felt it a) shortened their wake in the water or b) took out too much of the water reflections. But, I can certainly see your point and did consider it.

I think I have been living there lately, I'm hooked!

Hi Bill, Nice color in the water with the reflection. Also I like the crop version the best.

Nice color and reflections in the water. I definitely like the version with the shoreline cropped out much better.

Thanks John and Robert, back there in the morning I hope. Yes, the water is definitely the highlight in this.

Bill,

If I had water with those great reflections near where I live I'd likely be there every day!

As presented I wish there were more eye contact with the geese. I would probably crop some from the left so that the geese were not centered.
