Nikon D300, Sigma 150. F/14, 1/20, ISO 640.

The only hibiscus in my garden, it managed to weather the cold canadian winters. One of my favourites, comments appreciated.

Albert: Beautiful subject and excellent capture. I need some of these tough guys; lots of our hibiscus succumbed to the winter and its nothing compared to what you endure. Very well done.>=))>

Love the texture and composition in this Albert. You also achieved very good separation while keeping the interest up in the subject. Beautiful image. Excellent crafting.

Albert: Nice texture, curvy lines and color. You have done well to isolate the flower and managing to blur the BG at F14. Well done. :toast:

Nice image composition Albert. May I suggest to allow a little bit more space on the lower left corner, and also at the top and bottom?

This is super Albert. Tack sharp front to back on the Hibiscus, and a great controf of DOF to render the BG OOF. Super presentation! :toast:

This image is just too busy for me. The new bud is cut off, the background, though blurred, is still distracting and the bloom has seen its day. Good story telling image, but not you're usual best work of art.. :wavey:
