Black and White-A Sequel

Just like all of us, I frequently take an image and then berate myself because I didn't think of this or that. So with this particular image I had a goal. I wanted to replicate (as closely as possible) the last image I posted... Black and White and and I specifically wanted to improve the focus.

I think I succeeded and I also think the lighting in the original "Black and White," was better.

So I guess I just have to keep on a-tryin' :jump:

D700
60mm lens
f/36
1.3 s
Manual focus
-2 EV

Your comments on most welcome and I thank all of you in advance.

Carol, I do like the focus on this post better, but, in the origional the flower had almost a satin sheen which I like. Both are very well done and interesting. Good job, twice. :toast:

Carol,

I like this image but still think I prefer the first. I do think I like the sharpness more in this but I liked the lighting or lack of it more in the first. It's interesting to compare the two.
