Ken, I would have loved to have seen a larger photo. This looks as though it has great detail and excellent sharpness.

The curves are wonderful and eye-catching. Would suggest further processing, working with channels and taking advantage of different levels of light to really enhance the curves.

Carol, thanks for the detailed critique...I appreciate when you care enough to share ideas. I have a larger version that was ready to post...but, details seemed to work against it. Opening exposed more spots/more grit. I wish the leaves were like pulled taffy. I did my best trying to achieve that effect w/o pooping all over the shot. Channels eh? I am pretty basic on CS3....will have to learn that one.

Ken, beautiful abstract capture. Great eye to see this microcosm.

I can see this hanging in a gallery and staring at it for a while, letting my eyes flow in, out and back into the image, from diferent directions, enjoying the curves and paths the lines lead me on.
