Costa Vicentina and Sw Alentejo Natural Park

Brief story:
It´s still night. 2 A.M, departing from Lisbon heading to the wilderness of Cape Vincent´s Southern coastline in Portugal. After 4 hours driving, plus some hiking trough some trails, before sunrise I reach this wild beach. For the first time.
I wanted a low tide and clear sky to study how the light played with the red rock, this is the comp. I brought from the journey.

All your thoughts are very appreciated. Thanks

Details:
1 exposure: f/11 1/2sec ISO200 at 13mm
Used tripod, cable release and 2 ND´s soft grad taking 4 stops of upper light

Helio,

From the tag photo in the gallery I thought this was a mountain alpen glow image with a lake. So I was pleasantly surprised when you blew away my assumption. This early morning tide pool reflection shot is a classic IMHO.

The light and color on the peak is wonderful Helio. I like the contrast between the warm and cool colors.

Thanks for feedback so far guys, all good points you´ve mentioned here.
I´d also like some critique about saturation or polarizer effect, forgot to mention it above, but it´s use is crystal clear ;) Is it working for you?

This shot was definately worth the effort. My only minor thing is the FG rocks appear to have a bit of a bluish tint, but it could very well be me.

Your trek was well worth it. This image is particularly appealing.

Yup, had me fooled as well. This really looked like an alpine glow image at first sight. Knowing that it was taken by the coast really surprised me. Very cool image.

I could have sworn the image showed a glacial lake and the top of a mountain. The placement of the elements makes for an elegant composition here. Beautiful work, Helio!
