Val Ferret

Hello,
Val Ferret is a very nice valley that runs next to the Mont Blanc Massif. This pic was taken last summer during an overcast night while rainy clouds were gathering in the valley.

Hi Monica, I like this very much. The effect of the flowing water (Dora River, righ?) is wonderful. And the composition works very well.
We know Val Ferret as we spent there holydays for some years, and we find it wonderful.

I wonder if this is the valley my ancestors came from I wouldn't mind being from here. My last name is French, Duval. From the valley. Well seen and well captured, under very underlit conditions I'm sure.

D&L, yes the river is Dora di Ferret, the location was close to Lavachey. I love that place and I go there in winter for cross-country skiing and in summer for hiking.

Stan, the source of light was given by the moonlight diffused by the overcast sky.
