Went on my first wildflower hunt of the year this morning. Its still pretty early and the best blooms are probably a couple of weeks away but the Redbuds and Dogwoods are in full bloom. Spotted this combo in Grimes County this afternoon. Compression has done some disservice here but I still liked the juxtaposition of the flowers. All comments welcome.>=))>

I understand why the pink cercis is emphasized Bill and I like the vibrancy, but I'm wondering did you experiment with the Depth of Field so the dogwood would be in focus too? Good start to you spring wildflower photos.

The OOF Dogwood blossoms give depth to the closed comp. The contrasting colors work for me. All in all, it's a winner!

A little bet hectic for me, but boy it looks like a wonderful area to have spent the day outside!

A pretty combo, i like it! Might crop just the top to get rid of the darkest green areas. :toast:

Wow, spring has sprung! What a great mix of colors here. The green BG aids so much in his image IMO. Beautiful Bill.

Two of my favorite flowering trees Bill, and two that are extremely difficult to find where I live. The field of colors works well together.
