I was so lucky to meet this fascinating little bird on my holiday in Tenerife (Canary Islands) in early March. An incredibly beautiful bird, which I thought I just want to share with you. In Denmark it is unfortunately a very rare spring visitor.

Very sharp details and nice pose. May be a little tight on top. I might tone down some of the FG.

Very nice capture Claus. This is a beautiful bird and you have done well to capture it with a not so distracting BG. I agree about more room at top, and tone down the FG a bit, especially the LRS.

Great detail and interesting foreground and background. I wish there were a fraction more room around the crest of the bird because it would draw my eye to it more.

Lovely detail and head turn Claus - I'd be tempted to give it a little more room if you have any, particularly at the top.

cheers

Really nice detail here Claus, I agree with more room on top and toning down the perch in the right hand corner. :toast:

Wow, what a cool looking bird, I would consider some of the adjustments already mentioned, however very nice job in getting this, way to go.

Hello all

Thanks for the nice feedback. I agree with the proposed adjustments, but unfortunately it is not possible. The image is shown in full frame
