I sure wish I was down there shooting with you guys instead of working up here in the rain. Great pose on a great bird, the back looks a little on the bright side but that's an easy fix. :toast:

Charlie, nice bird. I might take the exposure down just a bit overall.

This one is as interested in you as you are in it. I really like the pose and the bugs buzzing.

Great to be down here again and being in really good company - something I look forward to as soon as I start driving home the year before!

Great bird and great image, Charlie! Gee, I have the same shot, I've just noticed!

Interesting image, despite the harsh light, Charlie. I like the composition. :toast:

A really good bird, and a cute pose. I agree maybe pull the brightness/highlights down just a hair.

Charlie,

I like the almost inquisitive pose of the thrasher, the soft colors of the background and the lines of the branches at the bottom of the frame. I've yet to see this species in person and enjoy how well this image shows the field marks.

Hope that you and Kwan have a great time birding together!

Love the cocked head Charlie. Good DOF with that long tail too. This bird is so very different from the Sage Thrashers we get around here. I see that they get into the St. George area so I'll have to try for one next trip down there.
