Another lovely comp. I like a lit more room around. A minor nit is the broken blade of leaf in LLC. Engaging image as it is.

Hi Bob, the BG looks a little blotchy on my monitor almost like a scanned image would look. As far as the flower goes I think it looks great. Nice detail and vivid colors. Also I like the vertical layout captureing not one but two flowers in the image showing the full flower.

I agree with Gary about leaving a little more room all around. Also wonder if color isn't a little oversaturated.

Robert,

I like this comp with the diagonal orientation. I like the image. My only reservation is the lighting and I'm having trouble figuring out what bothers me. I guess the best way to describe it is to say that it has a presence of it's own in the image as opposed to just illuminating and interacting with the subject naturally. I don't know if that makes any sense as a comment or not. I hope it does.

Pat, you are absolutely right on the lighting. I had read an article from a photographer that did a portrait with LED lights, and I tried it on this image to see the results. I was hoping for some feed back on this as it was a first for me. Thanks

Bob: My favorite of the series. Superb lighting against the black BG and striking colors. Really well done.>=))>

Robert, very nice color and lighting. The LED lighting does give the image a unique look.
