I like the reds and the abstract feel created by the shallow DOF. The anthers complement each other nicely, as Gary notes. I wonder whether you could improve this by brightening them a bit . . . just a minor suggestion if you want to try something.

I too think of a mirror like image here when I look at the anthers. I like the way the focus is sharp on just one, leaving the other one soft and in the shadows. Lovely color as well.

P.S. Kathy, what the heck happen to our 75/80 degree weather? I knew it was too early, but I was starting to get used to it.

I appreciate everyone's comments. I hadn't thought about it, but I could try and brighten the anthers - get them to pop a bit more.
John - not too sure what happened to our weather. You must not be too far from GR. During the night at work, I looked out the window and there was a dusting of snow on the ground. It's pretty much gone now. Stopped at Meijers and got some pink and yellow tulips on the way home
