Boojum and moon

Just a simple shot of the moon framed through the branches of a boojum tree in Baja California, Mexico. Although it was close to dusk, the sky wasn't quite this purple - I pushed it in that direction a bit with Photoshop. I have this framed in one of those long skinny frames, it looks pretty good in the house!

A great emphasis on the vertical and I like the placement of the moon. Nice job.

A very pretty pic that gets an A for originality. The pink in the sky makes it very compelling.

I love boojum trees. I've only seen them on the mainland (there is one small stand of them in Sonora), but was fascinated. Great color, and I like the moon caught between.

This is well composed and very original! I might have done a double-exposure for the moon, so as to bring out more detail in it, but that's a minor nit.

Looks great... I like the silhouetted branches and how they frame the moon.
