Blazing Enchantments

This is my personal all time favorite image, and one of my best selling images as well. It was also one of the hardest images to process. It was only possible with the help of Tony K's luminosity masks, and some advanced blending techniques. This is actually a desaturated version if you can believe it. Thanks again to Scott Lans who let me come along this incredible trip. I can't imagine if I had missed this incredible moment.

This is one of those prints in my booth at fine art shows or galleries that stops people in their tracks. Some images just print better, and a 20x30 print of this has more impact than any other of my images.

5D
17-40L
3 exposures, f/16, ISO 50

It's easy to see why this would stop people in their tracks! This is incredible Zack, and this is de-saturated????? Those clouds have to be some of the prettiest I've seen - oh. I would love to see this at 20x30!

No mistaken recall about this image, Zack. I still remember when you had first posted this image, it's just got to be a wonderful print to see in person too.

Yes ... I absolutely remember viewing this wonderful composition in the ES&S Gallery. It's completely understandable that this is one of your best sellers. I notice that the one on your web site appears to be slightly brighter or to have slightly less contrast. I think I prefer that one a little more, compared to the one above.

This is the best you could come up with? Joking aside, this is absolutely incredible! The foreground trees really put this over the top. :toast:

A once in a lifetime incredible scene and you captured it so well! I definitely prefer this desaturated version over the original one that you posted. I can see how a larger version could take your breath away! An exceptional capture and absolutely gorgeous!! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Your images have always impressed me, Zack. You certainly know with you're doing with both a camera and a computer.
