kiss my ibex ....

This is another shot of a caucasian ibex. He was hanging around our camp probably looking for a snack but seemed not that excited about me following him with my camera. He just slowly turned around and proudly walked away
I used an analogue Canon EOS 100 + sigma 70-300mmf5.6 APO handheld.

Hey Andrius,

Now that's a shot that's just BEGGING to be used at the "tail-end" of a slide presentation!

Cheers...

Brad

PS: I DO like that the entire foreground is nicely in focus and how the ibex looks about to disappear into a distant void!

Beautiful perspective, I like how it is unaware of your presence.

Andrius you made the most of a situation that wildlife photographers normally do not like, an animnal walking away from them! But you turned it into an opportunity. The center placement works very well in this case. I like the DOF, giving just enough texture in the distant mountain. :toast:

I hope at the beginning of the book or slide presentation you have the exact shot with the ibex facing the lens! I like the sense of scale provided by that mountain.

This reminds me of the paintings of Caspar David Friedrich, very nice.
