Found this remarkably back lit leaf while out hiking. I was out in search of cascades, so this was an unexpected find. Sometimes it is better to be lucky, than to have a plan.

Nikon D40, f/8, 1/160, Sigma 70-300 macro @ 195 mm, tripod.

That's a beautiful glow. Great eye to see and shoot this, it works very well. Having it all in focus would be optimal, but that's a minor nit.

Really cool - love the leaf veins - but perhaps best placed in the Flora Gallery..
