In my house, spring officially arrives when our peach trees blossom. The bloom is at its peak and I caught this pair just at daybreak.

Canon 5D MkII, 180mm Macro, 1/125 sec, f/18, iso 1000, gitzo tripod

Pretty nice shot. The background really complements the vibrant flowers. I'm wishing just a bit that the bottom of the frame didn't clip the lower flower.

Hi Jim,

This is realy nice, beautiful colors. I dont know if it was possible but a vertcal capture would be , in my opinion,
stronger. Maybe the POF somewhat to the front to get the whole scene sharp. Anyway a colorful shot, :toast:

Really nice. Great flowers and nice BG. My only small nit is the clipped petal on the bottom. And it's a very small nit. Well done. :toast:

Hi Jim :wavey: Another great composition , and use of light and color. As micheal noted, i dont expect a clipped petal from an artist like you :biggrin: :wink:

Jim: I like this as a horizontal and the BG is wonderful. I'd also like a touch more room on the bottom bit this works well for me as is.>=))>

Thanks for the comments. Funny, I was so focused on the upper bloom I didn't notice the minor clip of the bottom petal!

Looks like a job for photoshop! :wink:
