A shooting pal and I drove by this farm on our way home last weekend. I snapped a couple shots of these domesticated birds w/out giving it much thought. Then when I got home and really looked at it, I liked what I saw. Shot with Nikon D-60, had computer/ISP problems all day, that's all the info I have at this time. A larger is posted too, as well as a B&W conversion--I"m not sure which I like better, the color or B&W feel. Thanks for your help and suggestions!

I think I like the color Bill, and this is the first time I have seen a turkey in with chickens. But I guess they are all birds of a feather. Nice capture.

All birds of a feather? What about the rabbit in the cage!? I like this for all the interesting background elements. IMO the colors of the strutting tom and the reds of the chicken combs are real important, so I would say, definitely, 'color."

Absolutely agree Lon, love the strutting Tom, but it's all the background "stuff" that makes this for me. Reminds me of a scene from some foreign land or something I can't put my finger on...
