Thanks to everyone at NPN for all the help and encouragement over the years. And a special thanks to Jim and Donna for creating a pleasant environment for us to hang out.

Here's an image from this past fall at Lake Fausse Point, a wonderful place to paddle.

David, very beautiful colors and a great photo in general. Congratulations!
One only thing, it looks over sharpened in post processing to my eye.

David, your fall cypress images are among my very favorite on NPN and I was hoping you would post one of them in this gallery. Until seeing your photos, I would never have imagined such beauty in a Louisiana bayou. Be prepared for a few more photographer paddlers on your lake next fall!

Oh, I loved this when you first posted it, and still love it today. Great color in the cypress. and a very elegant comp. Love the milky brown water.

I think I could stare at this image all day long. I liked it and the others in this series as much as any image(s) posted here.

I must confess, I still can't get the whole series of these shots of yours out of my head. I'm still pondering with the thoughts of visiting the deep south this november. otherwise those trees will haunt me, thanks to your great photography...!
