This was taken on a Texas ranch. Just a fun shot. I loved the sounds the emu made as it fed[sounded like a type of drum or someone beating on a hollow log].

I like the intimate portrait, the blue feathers with the golden eye, and the pose.

Nice shot, the pose an dlighting bring a nice feel to the image, often emus tend to look rather goofy, they do make a great sound though.
