Baby Elephant learning to use the trunk.
I just love watching and photographing baby animals, they are so adorable. This baby elephant did not yet have the full control over his trunk.
Thankyou so much for your kind attention & views !

Not just a good baby elephant photo, but a very good photo. Nice sharp crisp imagine, and just enough of the larger elephant to help set the scene. Thanks for posting.

Wonderful quality on this baby! The extended trunk pose and textural detail is captivating. Although the adult adds a sense of place, in this case I think I would have liked it even better with the baby isolated in the midst of that interesting grass. Fine posting.

Yeah, this is a killer shot! Remarkable detail and love the DOF, it just grabs you the instant you look at it. Very tender image with a bit of mom in the frame. :jump:

Hi Jagdeep,

A wonderful shot Jagdeep! I love the outstretched and somewhat out of control trunk on that adorable little beast. I quite like the inclusion of the "hint of mom" on the side. Detail looks excellent on the subject.

On my monitor the greens look a tad (well...maybe even a little more than a tad) punchy...

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Gorgeous Jagdeep! I like the inclusion of mom and how she borders the one side of the frame, it really provides an anchor and as John said; it sets the scene. In a perfect world thevery OOF strands in front of the calf's legs would not be there, but that's pretty minor. :toast:

Beautiful image of a calf with extended trunk adding to the impact. And, I like the inclusion of a little bit of the parent to add a touch of proportion. I agree with Brad, though, about the overly saturated greens. :toast:
