Here is another pose from my little Ruby-crowned Kinglet I first photographed and posted last week. Thank you all for your very nice comments and suggestions. Actually, he was the star here and I had such fun shooting him.

Thanks for looking and for your comments.

Just a beautiful bird. There seems to be some artifacts in the BG on both the left and right sides though mostly the right. I presume cloning was done and one way to help blend it in would be to add some noise back into those areas

Thanks Luke. Nothing was cloned on the right and a small, quite oof branch on the extreme left edge was cloned out. I think what you are seeing on the right is another severely oof branch - maybe...

Beautiful bird, detail, pose and BG.
I also see the artifacts, but easily corrected.

Gorgeous little bird, lovely head angle and composition. The background really makes the bird pop. I also see the "artifacts?" but that is a minor nit. Well done. :toast: :toast:

Great shot as is, but would be even better if you had used more depth of field - his left leg and tail seem out of focus. Too shallow DOF is one of my problems also. I probably wouldn't have seen the artifacts if others hadn't mentioned it. I love the color and the detail in the head.

Great little bird Hans. Great job capturing this fast little guy. I agree with the DOF suggestion for the future, but this still works fine. If you have a bit more room at the bottom, I might give it a smidge and then fix the artifacts on the right and you're golden. :toast:
