Pheasant Feathers

NPN has had a major impact on my photography. What I've gained in nearly four years of watching, posting, and commenting can not be measured. This image earned me my first EP in December of 2007. That EP gave me a major boost of confidence. This image also taught me to slow down and explore a subject more thoroughly. I was out with a specific idea in mind when I found the feathers. I hurriedly shot a bunch of images, before rushing off. Now, I wish I had taken my time, and have tried to do better at not rushing since then.

Rob, I remember this one. It is just gorgeous! Pheasants are beautiful birds and you did wonders with their feathers.
