This is from a long time ago. It must have been within the first couple of years of NPN, and I haven't been back to Ft. Desoto since. Still one of my favorites and wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been learning from this site.

Thanks to Jim and Donna for providing the learning atmosphere that NPN has always been.

My those red "stockings" should get the attention of some lucky ibis. Wonderful capture! :toast:

Wow, that's some pretty brilliant color on those legs. These are beautiful birds to me - love to see them in the swamps.
