Flickering Flame

Gallery: 10 Years of NPNPosted April 26, 2010389 views7 comments

This winner of the PA category for 2009 began its life as a white dahlia with pink edges on the petals. Taken with Canon 40D, using 100-400 IS lens. Used a variety of CS3 and NIK filters in post processing to arrive at this image. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks to all for your critiques and criticism. Both have helped me grow and expand my knowledge.

Patricia: Perhaps my all time favorite image of yours and it has some really stiff competition. Striking creation.>=))>

Amazing work Patricia - this reminds me of an image takem with the hubble telescope; looks like an emerging solar system or something. Beautiful.
