Red Fox in Sun

Well there seems to be a run on Red Fox on here! So while this pales to the others, just wanted to post my version as the fox turned around--right into the bright sunlight of course.

Anyway, only my 2nd R.F. sighting, couldn't believe how big this was. It was a good distance away, and only had my Nikkor 200mm. So this is cropped down a good 70-80% to try and get it closer. His face is right in the sunlight too. Shot D-60 at ISO-200, 1/800th sec., f-5.6 at the full 200mm. Thanks for looking and any C&C, larger posted too.

Bill, this does a good job documenting your experience. Yes conditions were tough and contrasty and you did a good job to balance exposure and maintain detail. Congrats on the encounter and you and the others are beginning to convince me I should be out looking for red fox!

Thanks for the follow up on your previous post Bill. I like this one better, even if it is only for the fact that you have a much better view of the fox as well as his attention. You handled the harsh light pretty well and even managed a catchlight in the eye! The large tree in the BG helps to balance the position of the fox nicely.
