I'd been here many times as I lived in Honolulu for several years, but never seemed to get the right lighting and break in the clouds that I wanted. Finally one trip over I sat there for about two hours not able to see more than 50 feet, and then the clouds opened up for about 15 mins. I travel a great deal and this place was always one of my favorite places to visit.

Brian, I also visited the Na Pali coast several times when I lived in Honolulu many years ago. It is a place of incredible beauty. Your wonderful image reminds me of those trips and now I want to go back!

Yeah, you just make me homesick for this unbelievable island and this valley, and I have never even lived there! :biggrin: One of my favorite places in all the earth, and your shot shows it at it's finest.
