Autumn's First Light...

It's hard to describe what NPN has meant to me as an artist and photographer for the past five years that I've been participating. I came to this site with a new camera and a good eye, but have grown as an artist thanks to the wonderful group of people who have taken the time to help with instruction and critique.

I took this shot on New Hampshire's Mount Pierce on the first morning of Autumn in 2007...it's one of my favorites, and it would not have turned out this well without the experience and knowledge that grew from this community!

I love the color and "S" curve path Jim. The warm light on the foreground to the left is beautiful. Having visited the NH mountains many times in my younger days and more recently with my youngest son, this touches my heart. Beautiful work. I have also seen some some of your images on MWOBS. Love your images of Mt Washington and NH Jim.
